Sri Parashiva Murthy B. S., aged 58, is an engineering graduate and a professional cost accountant from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has more than three decades of industry experience, including working with IDBI Bank, formerly Industrial Development Bank of India, BPL Group and Kennametal Group.

During his tenure of more than 23 years with IDBI Bank, Mr. Murthy worked in various capacities. His last role was General Manager, heading the Stressed Asset Vertical of IDBI Bank.

Mr. Murthy has served on the boards of several corporates as an Independent Director. He has deep knowledge and insight into the credit appraisal processes of banks and financial institutions.
